I have selected one of my favorite dance songs to celebrate.

I am planning a small gourmet casual summer dinner with family, al fresco if it does not rain.

 

The Birthday menu:

 

Brie Fromage et pain des grain douze

Salade  romaine, avec celery, olives, garden tomatoes, homemade herb vinagrette

Poached herbed tilapia fillets with dill, fresh black pepper and fresh lime

Steamed Vegetable medley of green and yellow beans and baby carrots al dente with dill

Fresh local cream and sugar corn on the cob

Raspberry lemonade, crystal light  

 

Fresh chilled bing cherries, watermelon, white grapes, ripe mango

Sugar free yellow birthday cake with white frosting

Sugar free butter pecan ice cream

Hot Columbian coffee

 

"Love Is in the Air" is a 1977 disco song sung by John Paul Young. It became his only worldwide hit during 1978, peaking at #2 on the Australian charts and #5 in the UK singles chart. In the United States, the song peaked at #7 on the pop chart and spent two weeks at #1 on the adult contemporary chart, his only US hit.^[1]

Love Is In The Air was the theme song to Baz Luhrmann's 1992 debut feature film "Strictly Ballroom".

In 1997, the song was covered by Krush featuring Simon Green.

In 2007, the song was also covered by Rupert Everett and Colin Firth for the movie St. Trinian's.

Cher also made a cover of the song, and it was originally planned for her album, Believe. It was, however, removed for the final version.
