Hooray! The 52-date Idols Tour has finally come to an end, and now it's time for Adam Lambert to start his solo career.
We know that Adam's new album releases November 24 (a week after Kris Allen's) and that it's going to be "eclectic" with a little something for everyone.
Adam sat down with Reality Rocks reporter Lyndsey Parker for his first almost post-Idols Tour interview.
Adam spilled the beans about the maniacal fandom he's encountered, how he's stayed grounded, how he's using his fame to expose his fans to new music and ideas, and what his upcoming album will sound like:
In case you didn't hear, Adam tweeted during Kanye West's jaw-dropping stage rush of Taylor Swift at the MTV VMA's, "Kanye needs to chill. He freaks out every year. It ain't that deep, man."
Even President Obama chimed in. He called Kanye a "jackass" for his behavior at the awards show. When the president calls you a jackass, maybe it's time to pull your sh*t together and drop the ego thing. Are you listening, Kanye?
So far, Adam's public schools charity at DonorsChoose has raised $148,382 and donations have reached over 59,000 needy students nationwide. The contest runs until September 20th, so get your last-minute donations in ASAP. One fan group alone, ONTD_AI of Los Angeles, just donated $58,223!
